Many years ago I got my wife a gift certificate to get her nails done. In her younger years she was quite the nail biter. I am so proud of how well she has been able to continue with getting her nails done and taking such good care of them. When I got her the gift certificate, I had no idea that she would get into nails the way she has and continue to grow them. She has had her nails done in so many styles and lengths over the years. I love to take pictures of them when she gets them done. It's fun! I find her nails to be such a beautiful part of her overall beautiful and amazing self!

These are her nails professionally done in a classic French Manicure.

  1. Congrats you got to marry Carmela. I wish so bad I could pull this style off, they’re so fun

  2. I love her jewelry but I’m really not a fan of these. The nude suits her well, but they’re too wide and don’t do her otherwise nice hands any favors. Also the curve downwards is far too exaggerated.

I can’t fathom long nails, like how do people type or even punch in their card info on the pad when they buy stuff? I nearly poke my damn eyes out half the time and my nails are less than half the length as hers! But with that said, I’m always amazed and impressed at how women with long nails can manage daily tasks. Like seriously, ya’ll are the true superheroes lol. But in all seriousness, they are amazing. Love them!

  4. Anyone who shits on these in the comments doesn’t understand just how iconic and gorgeous these are. This THE nail 😍😍

  5. I think it would be nice if straight tips were used to prevent the big curving. Execution is done well!

  6. Not my style. If she likes them, great. Too long for my lifestyle and LOVE color. You did want criticism, right? You tagged the post that way…

I’m a millennial and there’s something oddly comforting about this, like ahh this type of woman is still out here. My brain fills in a NJ/NY accent haha
